Scheme for misappropriation of budgetary funds totaling more than 11 million UAH was exposed

Tax specialists jointly with the Security Service of Ukraine in Odessa region exposed scheme for misappropriation (waste) of budgetary funds.

It is detected that enterprise during 2019 – 2020 documented the non-commodity operations with risky business entities to overestimate the cost of work performed for local self-governments. Operations were carried out for the purpose of misappropriation (waste) of budgetary funds and their further legalization in the amount of 11.4 million UAH.

Committed actions have signs of crimes for which the responsibility according to Article 191 and 209 of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

Research materials collected by the Anti-money laundering department of Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region were sent to the Security Service of Ukraine in Odessa region for appropriate decision under Article 214 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine.
