Scheme for misappropriation and legalization of state funds totaling 2.4 million UAH was exposed

Tax specialists of Lviv region jointly with Territorial directorate of the State Bureau of Investigation in Lviv city exposed scheme for misappropriation and legalization of state funds totaling 2.4 million UAH.

It was detected that officials of the business entity (customer of works) and the enterprise (winner of tender procurement) during the execution of works committed theft (misappropriation) of state funds in the amount of 2.4 million UAH with their subsequent legalization.

Criminal proceeding under Part 2 Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations regarding the receipt of state funds as a result of committing a socially dangerous illegal act.

Pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
