Tax specialists prevented formation of a fictitious tax credit by importing companies in Odessa region

Tax specialists, according to results of daily monitoring of tax invoices registration, prevented possibility of registration of vehicles in tax invoices by importing companies for 10.8 million UAH of the VAT in order to form a fictitious tax credit.

Company “A” – importer of vehicles became a participant in the formation of the VAT credit scheme and tried to register tax invoices (with the nomenclature of goods – vehicles (imports) and spare parts for cars) to counterparties with questionable tax histories – “risky” taxpayers.

However, according to verification results of VIN-codes, owners of the first registration of these vehicles are mostly individuals – non-payers of the VAT.

Commission of the Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region made a decision to include the company “A” in list of risky taxpayers which further prevents distribution of the tax credit scheme.
