More than 32 thousand bottles of alcohol with counterfeit excise stamps were seized from illicit turnover

Tax specialists in the framework of cooperation with tax police of Main Directorate of the SFS in Chernihiv region took part in activities aimed at detecting the counterfeit products.

In the course of joint actions it was established that there is a warehouse with alcohol beverages in one district center of Chernihiv region. Beverages were stored for further sale. Bottles were marked with excise stamps with obvious signs of forgery. 32.5 thousand bottles of vodka worth more than 3 million UAH were seized from illicit turnover.

Investigative actions are ongoing, involved in the crime individuals are being identified.
