Financial sanctions totaling 42.8 million UAH may be applied to enterprises for illegal wholesale of fuel

Tax authorities stopped illegal activity of enterprises that carried out the wholesale of fuel in the territory of oil depot in Mykolaiv region.

STS organized audits in February 2021, as a result of which presence of properly unaccounted fuel in the amount of 1.2 million liters, wholesale of fuel without obtaining a license for the wholesale to such place of wholesale and other violations were established.

Financial sanctions amounting to 42.8 million UAH are envisaged for such violations.

In addition, despite the submission of information regarding sale and storage of fuel by separate business entities to the tax authority, it is actually confirmed that such activities were not carried out by these enterprises.

As a result, these enterprises are classified as risky and illegal formation of the VAT tax credit was biased.

Work on processing entities involved in a chain of acquisition from these enterprises is ongoing.
