Tax specialists exposed tax evasion scheme totaling more than 50 million UAH

Tax specialists jointly with Territorial department of the State Bureau of Investigation located in Mykolaiv city exposed tax evasion scheme operation of which possibly causes losses to the state totaling more than 50 million UAH.

Tax specialists of Odessa region detected that officials of four Odessa companies-importers during 2019 – 2020 reflected in tax accounting the non-commodity operations for the sale of imported goods totaling 301.6 million UAH (including 50.2 million UAH of the VAT).

Specified companies carried out registration of tax invoices for further documentation of the non-commodity operations and formation of a tax credit for enterprises of the real sector of economy of Ukraine, which may have led to tax evasion.

Materials collected by the Anti-money laundering department of Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region were submitted to the address of Territorial department of the State Bureau of Investigation located in Mykolaiv city for attaching to the criminal proceeding.
