Formation of a “risky” tax credit totaling 4 million UAH was exposed

Tax specialists of Ivano-Frankivsk region exposed formation of a “risky” tax credit for registration of the non-commodity operations.

Anti-money laundering department of Main directorate of the STS in Ivano-Frankivsk region detected that at the request of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, the company (contractor) performed repair works with involvement of economic entities – subcontractors, in which a supply chain did not confirm the receipt of services (works) of the appropriate amount. As follows, the specified company overstated the VAT tax credit in the amount of 4 million UAH.

These facts are investigated in the framework of criminal proceeding on the grounds of criminal offenses under Part 3 Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
