Fictitious performance of metrological works causing losses to the state enterprise for 3 million UAH was exposed in Donetsk region

Tax specialists exposed facts of causing damage to the state enterprise in the amount of 3 million UAH during 2017 – 2020.

Employees of Main directorate of the STS in Donetsk region, in the course of analytical research, established creation of artificial conditions for concluding contracts for metrological works (services) on a behalf of private enterprise. But services were actually provided by employees of a state-owned enterprise with issuance of the state-certified certificates certifying the authenticity of the verified devices.

Profits were received by a private company, which, in addition to not paying taxes to the budget, also sent the proceeds to companies with fictitiousness signs in order to procure and legalize state funds. Amount of legalized funds amounted to 3 million UAH.

Materials were attached to the criminal proceeding on the grounds of criminal offenses under Part 2 Article 364 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine. A pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Investigative Department of Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk region.
