Excise tax revenues amounted to almost 22.4 billion UAH during January – April 2021

General fund of the State budget of Ukraine received almost 22.4 billion UAH of excise tax on excisable goods produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine in January – April 2021.

Revenues have increased by 10.9% or 2.2 billion UAH comparing to January – April 2020.

Fulfillment of the indicative figure was significantly affected by the receipt of excise tax on tobacco products imported to the customs territory of Ukraine, particularly tobacco-containing products for electric heating (TVEN) using electronically controlled heater.

Thus, despite the fact that from the 1^st of January 2021, the excise tax rate on TVEN was increased by 4.2 times to 1.456.33 UAH per 1.000 units (up to the level of rates for cigarettes with filter and without it), the sales volume of excise tax stamps for TVEN imported to the customs territory of Ukraine amounted to 121.5 million units in January – April 2021.

This is 34.2 million units or 39.1% more than in the corresponding period last year. Accordingly, the excise tax revenues on tobacco products imported to the customs territory of Ukraine amounted to 3.5 billion UAH in January – April 2021, which is 4 times more than in January – April 2020.

Special fund of the State budget of Ukraine received 7.2 billion UAH of excise tax on goods produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine in April 2021.

Fulfillment of the indicative figure amounted to 111.9% and 763.7 million UAH was additionally received. Revenues have increased by 14.2% or 894.6 million UAH comparing to April 2020.

Special fund of the State budget of Ukraine received almost 3.9 billion UAH of excise tax on excisable goods produced in Ukraine in January – April 2021, which is 130.2% from the fulfilled indicative figure. Budget additionally received 900.6 million UAH. Revenues have increased by 19.7% or 640.6 million UAH comparing to January – April 2020.

Special fund of the State budget of Ukraine received almost 987 million UAH of excise tax on excisable goods produced in Ukraine in April 2021, which is 124.1% from the fulfilled indicative figure. Budget additionally received 191.8 million UAH. Compared to April last year, Revenues have increased by 2.9% or 27.9 million UAH comparing to April 2020.
