Do not accumulate debts, make tax reconciliation!

State Tax Service of Ukraine invites taxpayers to pass tax reconciliation.

This procedure will allow payers to make sure that there is no debt payable to the budget and in case of its presence – to prevent further accumulation by paying such debt on time.

Citizens can check status of settlements with the budget in the Taxpayer Service Centers at the registration place (tax address) or using the electronic services of the STS, namely the menu “Status of settlements with the budget” of the private part of Electronic Cabinet.

Also, please note that if an individual – taxpayer has changed personal registration data, particularly: surname, name, patronymic name, place of residence (tax address), etc., such taxpayer is obliged to notify the controlling body about a change of data within a month from the date of occurrence of such changes by submitting Application for amendments to the State register of individuals – taxpayers (Form № 5 DR) to the controlling body or Application for amendments to Separate register of the State register of individuals – taxpayers for individuals accounted for by series and / or passport number (Form № 5 DRP).

As of today there are two ways to make changes to the State register of individuals – taxpayers by submitting Application form № 5 DR:

- personally or through a legal representative to the controlling body at his / her tax address (place of residence) and in case of change of residence – to the controlling body at the new place of residence. Individuals, who are temporarily outside the settlement of residence, submit these applications in person or through a representative to any controlling body;

- by means of the taxpayer’s “Electronic Cabinet” on the official web portal of the STS, using a qualified electronic signature (address: https://cabinet.tax.gov.ua)

Application form № 5 DRP is submitted in person or through a legal representative to the controlling body at its tax address (place of residence) and in case of change of residence – to the controlling body at the new place of residence.

It should be noted that without updating personal data, an individual – taxpayer may continue to face inconsistencies in reporting, depriving oneself of the opportunity to receive timely reminders from tax authorities on mandatory taxes, fees (other payments) or presence of the tax debt, which will lead to further accrual of financial sanctions.
