Employees of the State Tax Service of Ukraine were congratulated on their professional holiday

Today, employees of the State Tax Service of Ukraine were congratulated on their professional holiday – Day of the tax official of Ukraine.

Meeting on the occasion of holiday was attended by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko and acting Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Yevhen Oleinikov.

“As of today, the tax service is one team. Only together we achieve high result and everyone’s contribution is important. Work of tax official is not easy, historically, it is controversially perceived by society. But this is the work without which existence of the state is impossible. Unfortunately, a tax official is not a profession that can count on the love of society. We can count on understanding and respect and it is important for us to realize a need of our work for the state” – emphasized acting Chairman of the STS Yevhen Oleinikov.

During the event, it was particularly noted that the Tax service remains a reliable partner for honest taxpayers and effectively implements reforms that achieve high practical results.

The best tax officials were awarded with diplomas of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, diplomas of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, departmental awards of the STS for significant personal contribution to development and strengthening of the state tax system, many years of hard work and high professionalism.
