5.6 million UAH of the excise tax and fines were additionally accrued to enterprise for violation of tax legislation

State Tax Service of Ukraine is constantly taking measures to prevent and detect legislative violations in the production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, in particular, by controlling the movement of raw materials used by producers for alcohol production.

Employees of the Excisable product control department of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region participated in unscheduled documentary on-site audit of enterprise – alcohol producer operating in Vinnytsia region.

According to the audit results, an output of finished products (ethyl alcohol) in the amount of 3518.39 dal was established, which violated provisions of Article 13 of the Law of Ukraine as of 19.12.1995 № 481/95-VR “On the state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, cognac and fruit alcohol, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, liquids used in electronic cigarettes and fuel”.

For violation of these norms of tax legislation the specified enterprise will be held financially liable in the form of a fine in the amount of 1.1 million UAH; excise tax in the total amount of 4.5 million UAH will be additionally accrued.
