The VAT evasion, which cost 47 million UAH to the budget was exposed

Tax specialists of Odessa region jointly with Main Directorate of the SFS in Odessa region identified a number of enterprises that minimized the value added tax payment due to the registration of unrealistic operations.

It turned out that documents for the product supply were issued to enterprises that subsequently carried out export operations not typical of the main activity. Due to unrealistic business operations, the total amount of VAT evasion amounted to more than 47 million UAH.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing within a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceeding regarding intentional tax evasion.
