STS continues information support of the State Labor Service in the ongoing inspection campaignChapter: News

State Tax Service and its territorial bodies on a regular basis provide analytical information regarding the probable use of hired employment by taxpayers without actual registration of employment relations to the State Labor Service and its bodies.

Currently, the STS analyzes activities of more than 140 thousand taxpayers in the trade and services. Results in terms of individuals – taxpayers working with probable usage risks of undeclared employment will soon be provided to the State Labor Service for consideration during the ongoing inspection campaign.

As of 02.09.2021, the State Labor Service, with informational support of the State Tax Service, has already identified 8.8 thousand employees with whom employment relations have not been registered.

Employment relations with 4072 employees have been registered during inspection visits.

The highest percentage of unregistered employees was found working for the taxpayers – individuals registered on the simplified taxation system (Group I – III). The number of 5.2 thousand (59%) was identified working for entrepreneurs – simplifiers (single tax payers registered on the simplified taxation system) of the total 8.8 thousand identified unregistered employees.

It should be noted that not all employers are responsible for performance of their duties and continue to admit unregistered employees. In some cases, their number is 10 people or more.

For example, during the inspection visit by a territorial body of the State Labor Service to a public catering establishment in Trans-Carpathian region, the number of 18 employees was admitted to work without proper employment registration. To date, the issue of bringing individual – entrepreneur to responsibility established by law is being resolved.
