Taxpayers paid 67.7 billion UAH of excise tax to the consolidated budget

Consolidated Budget of Ukraine received 67.7 billion UAH of excise tax in January – August 2021. Indicative figure is fulfilled by 109.2%, additional revenues amounted to 5.7 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 16% or 9.4 billion UAH comparing to January – August 2020.

General fund of the State Budget of Ukraine received 52.6 billion UAH of excise tax on goods produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine. Indicative figure is fulfilled by 104.5%, additional revenues amounted to 2.2 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 15.3% or 7 billion UAH comparing to the same period last year.

Positive dynamics of excise tax revenues to the budget was achieved in terms of the main types of excisable goods, namely from alcoholic beverages and tobacco products produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine.

Revenues from excise tax on alcoholic beverages amounted to 5.6 billion UAH in January – August 2021, which is 22.9% more than the indicative figure. Budget additionally received 1.0 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 13.7% or 0.7 billion UAH comparing to January – August 2020.

Revenues from tobacco products amounted to 40.3 billion UAH in January – August 2021. This is 102.6% of the indicative figure. Budget additionally received 1 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 18.4% or 6.3 billion UAH comparing to January – August 2020.

Consolidated Budget of Ukraine received excise tax in the amount of 10.1 billion UAH in August 2021, which ensured fulfillment of the indicative figure by 117%. Additional revenues amounted to 1.5 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 24% or 1.9 billion UAH comparing to August 2020.

General fund of the State Budget of Ukraine received excise tax on goods produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine in the amount of 7.8 billion UAH in August 2021. Fulfillment of the indicative figure amounted to 111.4%, additional revenues amounted to 0.8 UAH. Revenues have increased by 23.5% or 1.5 billion UAH comparing to August 2020.

Revenues from the excise tax on alcoholic beverages amounted to 0.8 billion UAH in August 2021, which is 15.6% more than the indicative figure. Revenues have increased by 10.1% or 0.07 billion UAH comparing to August 2020.

Revenues from tobacco products amounted to 5.9 billion UAH in August 2021, which is 111.5% of the indicative figure. Budget additionally received 0.6 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 32.7% or 1.5 billion UAH comparing to August 2020.

Special fund of the State Budget of Ukraine received 9.2 billion UAH of excise tax on excisable goods (products) produced in Ukraine in January – August 2021, which is 145.4% from the indicative figure. Budget additionally received 2.9 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 24.9% or 1.8 billion UAH comparing to January – August 2020.

Special fund of the State Budget of Ukraine received 1.4 billion UAH of excise tax on excisable goods (products) produced in Ukraine in August 2021, which is 167.9% from the indicative figure. Budget additionally received 0.6 billion UAH. Revenues increased by 34.2% or 0.4 billion UAH comparing to August 2020.

Local budgets received excise tax in the amount of 5.9 billion UAH in January – August 2021, which is 111% from the indicative figure. Budget additionally received 0.6 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 10% or 0.5 billion UAH comparing to August 2020.

Local budgets received 0.9 billion UAH of excise tax in August 2021, which is 111.9% from the indicative figure. Budget additionally received 0.09 billion UAH. Revenues have increased by 12.8% or 0.1 billion UAH comparing to August 2020.
