Tax evasion scheme and misappropriation of budgetary funds was exposed

Employees of Main Directorate of the STS in Chernihiv region exposed tax evasion scheme and misappropriation of budgetary funds received for construction and repair of roads of state and local importance.

It was established that the business entity used documents to obtain products, works and services from enterprises with fictitiousness signs to underestimate taxation object, which arose due to the receipt of state funds for construction and repair of roads of state and local importance.

As a result of such operations, the specified business entity unreasonably formed tax credit in the amount of 15 million UAH. More than 86 million UAH was transferred to the accounts of risky suppliers.

Materials were entered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations with signs of a crime under Part 3 Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
