Yevhen Oleinikov: Suspension of registration of the tax invoice is not a prohibition of payer’s activity

Registration monitoring system of tax invoices suspends registration of only 0.4% – 0.5% of invoices. However, such suspension is not a prohibition of payer’s activity. This was stated by acting Chairman of the STS Yevhen Oleynikov in an interview with the “LB.ua”.

“Suspension means if we have stopped registration of the tax invoice, please provide us with a confirmation that operation specified in it was indeed. Give us documents. That’s all. If you give them, your tax invoice will be registered” – stated Yevhen Oleinikov.

According to him, the number of 180 thousand taxpayers submitted for registration 27 million tax invoices, which were registered in August this year. Herewith, for 19 thousand taxpayers the number of 145 thousand invoices for registration was suspended. In terms of the number of invoices, this is 0.54% of the total. In total, it is -1.1% of the total amount submitted for registration.

 “2.2 billion UAH was stopped in numbers as of submitted tax invoices. Applications for registration have been filed for 1.7 billion UAH. The rest were not submitted. It is 100% hit on our part. That is, the taxpayer understands that it is not even worth trying to seek a return through us or through the court, because there are no grounds. The case law on these issues until recently was very loyal. But even in this situation, of the remaining 1.7 billion UAH, we afterwards registered 1.5 billion UAH by ourselves according to the submitted appeals. Actually, payers applied only for 230 million UAH but we refused. They will agree or go to court. That is, the system is actually very taxpayer friendly. If it was otherwise, we would really stop the economy” – emphasized Yevhen Oleinikov.
