Financial sanctions totaling 24 million UAH were applied in segment of the retail sale of excisable products according to the audit results

State Tax Service of Ukraine constantly analyzes information available in its information databases regarding completeness of settlement operations through registrars of settlement operations / its software version by business entities whose activities are related to the retail sale of excisable products.

Conducted analysis as of 01.10.2021 identified about 6 thousand business entities that carried sale of excisable products, entities that had revenues made through registrars of settlement operations and which do not meet the required minimum costs for maintenance of business for the sale of such products.

On the STS’s behalf, its territorial subdivisions organized and conducted 2500 actual audits of such business entities in 2021, as a result of which financial sanctions totaling 24 million UAH were applied.

Due to constant attention of the STS towards completeness of settlement operations through registrars of settlement operations / its software version, the total number of facilities with low revenues has almost halved in 2021 comparing to the number of such facilities in 2020.

In case of establishing cases of sale of excisable products in violation of Ukrainian legislation, please inform the State Tax Service of Ukraine to take control and verification measures.
