Mikhail Titarchuk: Free software registrars of settlement operations is another step towards digital country

There are more and more manipulations around expansion of scope of registrars of settlement operations.

This was emphasized in a Facebook post by acting Chairman of the STS Mikhail Titarchuk, noting that the State Tax Service of Ukraine has created and launched special free software that turns any gadget from Windows or Android into a cash register, software registrar of settlement operations. Also, with support of the EU Public Finance Management Support Program for Ukraine the iOS and web versions will be developed and existing software for other platforms will be significantly updated.

He reminded that legislative norms on expanding the scope of registrars of settlement operations will come into force from 01.01.2022.

“Using a cash register is not putting pressure on business, but bringing it out of the shadows. After all, the “shadow” today causes great harm to every Ukrainian and state, not allowing to invest enough in infrastructure development and citizens’ social support” – stated Mikhail Titarchuk.

He also pointed out that entrepreneur decides which type of registrar to use – to buy hardware registrar of settlement operations or use its software version, installing the STS’s free software solution. Moreover, it is possible to use appropriate API, posted on the STS’s web portal and modify software registrar of settlement operations for company’s needs.

In the same way, an entrepreneur can use registrars of settlement operations and its software version at different economic objects in parallel.

Software registrars of settlement operations greatly simplifies doing business, as all reports are sent to the STS automatically. That is, with the help of a smartphone with a special installed program, it is possible, for example, to start a shift at work, make a change coin, generate checks and final reports (X- and Z-reports). In this case, each created check will be registered by the STS’s fiscal server.

Using software registrars of settlement operations, an entrepreneur can issue both paper and electronic checks. In addition, check can be checked in the E-cabinet:
