Acceptance of special payment means during settlements for sold products

State Tax Service of Ukraine systematically receives complaints from citizens about the failure of sellers of products to make payments using payment cards and bank terminals.

STS reminds taxpayers of an obligation determined by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 29.09.2010 № 878 “On settlements for sold products (provided services) using special payment means” to ensure acceptance of special payment means during settlements for sold products (provided services), including small business entities involved in trade, public catering and services in settlement locality with a population of 25 thousand people and which use by registrars of settlement operations according to the law.

Taxpayers please note that there is an obligation to use registrars of settlement operations / its software version from January 1, 2022.
