STS continues practice of open dialogue with business for prompt consideration of problematic issues

Working meeting of acting Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Tetiana Kirienko with representatives of the Home Group LLC “Morgan Furniture” Lorraine McMahon with participation of Director of the Investment Attraction and Support Office Serhii Tsivkach.

Tetiana Kirienko emphasized that activities of the State Tax Service of Ukraine are aimed at promoting transparent and honest business, preventing unfair behavior of taxpayers, compliance with principle of “zero tolerance for corruption”.

The LLC “Morgan Furniture” is a leading furniture company.

A number of issues that arise in the processes of economic activity and payment of taxes were discussed during the meeting. Priorities for discussion were issues of conducting control and audit activities of the LLC “Morgan Furniture”.

During discussion of issues that arose in the company as a result of planned documentary audit, as well as consideration of additional evidence provided by the company and the complaint’s argumentations, the STS’s leadership decided to conduct unscheduled documentary audit.

Tetiana Kirienko assured business representatives that the State Tax Service of Ukraine is always ready for cooperation, interaction and open dialogue, while business is expected to faithfully fulfill the obligation to pay taxes and mandatory payments to the budget.
