Tax officials exposed sale of tobacco products without excise stamps and use of RRO

Sale of tobacco products (Vapes) with visual signs of the counterfeit products was exposed during audit conducted by tax officials of Dnipropetrovsk region at 6 economic facilities.

Single tax payers operated at specified economic facilities without use of RRO / PRRO, as well as without obtaining appropriate licenses according to available the STS’s databases.

6 actual audits with involvement of the National Police units were organized and conducted in a framework of counteraction against market of illicit trafficking of tobacco products, counterfeit and counterfeit excisable products.

Measures taken in activities of all economic objects resulted in identification of significant violations, in particular:

sale of tobacco products without payments through registrars of settlement operations and without obtaining appropriate licenses;

sale of electronic cigarettes and liquids used in electronic cigarettes without excise stamps;

use of workers without formal employment.

Fines (financial sanctions) in the amount of 3.5 million UAH will be applied according to actual audits results for violation of the Laws of Ukraine as of 06.07.1995 № 265/95-VR “On the use of registrars of settlement operations in trade, public catering and services”.

Information on the use of two employees without proper registration was submitted to the State Labor Service.

Seizure of tobacco products with signs of the counterfeit products for the total amount of 900 thousand UAH was additionally initiated.
