Effective administration and quality service are a priority – Tetiana Kirienko

Implementation of legislative changes in tax sphere, creation of favorable conditions for doing business and maintaining effective communication between government agencies were discussed during the meeting of acting Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Tetiana Kirienko and Chairman of the Temporary Special Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Investor Protection Halyna Yanchenko.

According to acting Chairman of the STS Tetiana Kirienko, the tax service currently applies a comprehensive system for responding to risks of non-payment of taxes, focusing exclusively on a high-risk business entities and avoiding interference in activities of “white” business.

“STS strives to become a reliable partner of honest business, we are interested in protecting its interests and successful work in order to ensure budget revenues. Therefore, transparent, clear, efficient tax administration, as well as quality service are a priority of the STS” – stated Tetiana Kirienko.

Parties also discussed functioning of the automated monitoring system in the registration process of tax invoices, reasons for registration suspension and documents needed to confirm compliance of operations with current legislation and prompt consideration of taxpayers’ complaints.

Meeting resulted in reaching agreements for effective cooperation of the State Tax Service with representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, prompt resolution of disputes arising for business entities and coordination of efforts to create favorable environment for business and investments in Ukraine.
