Are licenses for production and turnover of alcohol, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and liquids used in electronic cigarettes, production, storage, wholesale and retail sale of fuel valid, if before termination or abolition of the martial law in Ukraine the next payment has not been done / or if it is expired?

Article 18 of the Law of Ukraine as of 19.12.1995 № 481/95-VR “On state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, cognac and fruit, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, liquids used in electronic cigarettes and fuel” with changes and amendments stipulates that licenses are considered valid for which the next payment has not been done before termination or abolition of the martial law, state of emergency on the territory of Ukraine or in the presence of force majeure circumstances and / or if it is expired:

production and turnover of alcohol, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and liquids used in electronic cigarettes;

production, storage, wholesale and retail sale of fuel and places of production, storage, wholesale and retail sale of fuel.

Obligations to make next payments / actions to renew license must be performed by the business entity within 30 days following the day of termination or abolition of the martial law, state of emergency in Ukraine.
