Use of RRO/PRRO is a protection of consumer rights

State Tax Service of Ukraine notes steady increase in a number of registered and accounted registrars of settlement operations (abb. RRO) / software registrars of settlement operations (abb. PRRO).

Compliance with procedure for carrying out settlements for goods (services) in the retail sale by business entities always benefits consumers, state budget and improves, in terms of control over the balances of assortment list of goods and work of taxpayers who use registrars of settlement operations in their activities.

Use of RRO /PRRO increases effectiveness of monitoring legislative compliance in consumer rights protection sphere thanks to the latter's right to demand a fiscal check. Specified norms promote transparent and equal competitive conditions for all market participants and carry threats only for unscrupulous market participants.

Therefore, rules for mandatory use of RRO/PRRO contribute to increasing revenues to the State budget of Ukraine, strengthening protection of consumer rights, creating equal and civilized business conditions.

This, in turn, will strengthen ability of our state to provide urgent needs of its defenders in the martial law conditions and proper social support of citizens.
