Changes have been made to the Regulation on conducting cash operations in national currency in Ukraine

Resolution № 205 of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine as of 19.09.2022 amended the Regulation on conducting cash operations in national currency of Ukraine, approved by Resolution № 148 of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine as of 29.12.2017 (hereinafter – Regulation № 148).

With the specified changes in the norm, Regulation № 148 was brought in compliance with requirements of the Law of Ukraine № 1591-IX as of 30.06.2021 "On payment services", which simplified reporting procedure on the use of funds issued for a business trip or for a report.

After changes enter into force, starting from 08.10.2022, individuals - trustees of institutions/enterprises - legal entities have to submit to the accounting department of the institution/enterprise "Report on the use of funds issued for a business trip or for a report" with supporting documents on the use of funds for purpose and return the unused balance of funds to the account of institution/enterprise or to the cash register within the established terms and procedures determined for accountable individuals by the legislation of Ukraine.

As follows, documents on receipt of cash from the current account (ATM checks, certificates according to the established forms, slips, receipts from trading terminals) do not need to be submitted to the accounting department with the report starting from 08.10.2022.
