More than 200 notifications of tax violations were received via the “StopViolationBot” chatbotChapter: News

Citizens have opportunity at any time of the day, 24/7 and in any place to notify the State Tax Service through the "StopViolationBot" chatbot in the Telegram messenger about known facts of legislative violations of the law, in particular, regarding:

- non-use of RRO/PRRO, non-issuance of checks;

- refusal to pay by the bank card;

- increase in prices for food products, medicines;

- non-registration of labor relations with employees;

- conduction of business activities without state registration.

During 3 months of the chatbot's operation, the State Tax Service received more than 200 notifications about legislative violations committed by business entities controlled by tax authorities. Herewith, the vast majority of such notifications related to citizens’ without state registration, violations of payment procedure during the sale of goods on the Internet and failure to provide possibility of the non-cash payment.

All information received through the chatbot is processed and verified by tax authorities, and if provided information is confirmed, appropriate response measures are taken, including tax audits.

State Tax Service processed 120 such notifications as of November 9, 2022 and as a result of taken control measures, fines in the amount of more than 2 million UAH will be applied to violators.
