State Tax Service cooperates with international experts on the implementation of best practicesChapter: News

Delegation of the State Tax Service of Ukraine during January 17-20, 2023 was on a working visit to the of Chisinau city (Moldova) as a part of implementation of the Work plan for 2022-2023 at the initiative of the US Department of Finance (Treasury) Office of Technical Assistance.

Representatives of the State Tax Service participated in a number of activities aimed at implementing global practices for recovery of work in the tax debt collection sphere after a large-scale crises, cataclysms and wars. Use of such international standards makes it possible to identify solvency of taxpayers, mechanism of seizure of cash, non-cash assets and tax liens.

Office of Technical Assistance has been asked to develop common concept of operations (CONOPS) that will define desired future state of tax debt management by the State tax Service.

For the State Tax Service, cooperation with Office of Technical Assistance is important, as its activities in taxation sphere are focused, including, around such areas as development of recommendations for work with the tax debt, especially its collection.

Due to such measures, the State Tax Service refines and strengthens its capabilities to improve its tax debt collection activities by providing useful pathways to transition from current to anticipated future state.
