Work with technical mission of the Tax and Budget Department of the International Monetary Fund has been completed Chapter: News

Joint delegation of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the State Tax Service of Ukraine, headed by Deputy Minister of Finance Svitlana Vorobei and acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko, worked with technical mission of the Tax and Budget Department of the International Monetary Fund on issues of tax policy and tax administration from January 30 to February 3, 2023.

A number of meetings were held during which current situation in tax administration sphere in Ukraine was considered, results of the Service’s work in 2022 in conditions of the martial law and legislative initiatives in taxation sphere were discussed. In particular, it was about the implemented measures that made it possible to ensure work of the State Tax Service in conditions of russian aggression and to support activities of taxpayers.

State Tax Service presented directions for its reforming in 2023, introduction of the unified electronic administration system. Specifically, it was about strategies for implementing electronic audit (E-audit), electronic traceability of the turnover of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products (E-excise), improving process of the corporate risk management and measures to reduce risks of integrity violations.

Joint working training during the mission confirmed correctness of strategic vector. Planned reforms will contribute to the maximum support of activities of honest payers, which in turn will contribute to stability of the state budget and provide reliable reserve for the post-war recovery and reconstruction of our country, its investment attractiveness.
