Representatives of the State Tax Service and the EU4PFM determined realization directions of joint projects in 2023

Representatives of the State Tax Service took part in the tenth meeting of the Steering Committee of the EU4PFM project. Representatives of the EU4PFM, the EU Representation in Ukraine, European Commission, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, State Tax Service and State Customs Service discussed realization of joint projects in 2023.

Last year, the State Tax Service managed to achieve significant results in the realization of projects that were renewed since March of last year. State Tax Service together with the EU4PFM during the martial law demonstrated effective work, due to which a large number of projects are currently at the final stage. 

In turn, Deputy Head of the State Tax Service for Digital development, digital transformations and digitization Nataliia Kalienichenko thanked the EU4PFM experts for their support, which enabled the State Tax Service to continue developing and improving administration processes according to the European standards. 

According to her, the State Tax Service managed to establish its smooth operation from the first days of the war, quickly adapt the IT system during the martial law, ensure operation of organization and its systems and services. 

Within the framework of meeting, main areas of cooperation in the tax sphere were determined. To date, focus is on the continuation of measures aimed to harmonize legislation, implementation of the EU directives and rules in work of the State Tax Service, the OECD guidelines and standards. Improvement of services will also be continued. Digitization in the near future will become one of the main tasks along with operational processes performed by the State Tax Service.
