Consolidated budget received 149.9 billion UAH in January – February 2023

Taxpayers continue to support Ukraine’s economy in difficult wartime, dutifully paying taxes to the budget. Thanks to their active civic position, the state steadily receives funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social benefits.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 149.9 billion UAH in January – February 2023. State budget received 83.5 billion UAH, local budgets – 66.5 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 82.6 billion UAH in January – February 2023. VAT was reimbursed in the amount of 25.9 billion UAH to the payers’ accounts.

In terms of main payments in January – February 2023, the increase compared to the corresponding period of last year from the personal income tax is 10.8% (+2.4 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 1.4 times (+3.6 billion UAH).

Local budgets received 66.5 billion UAH in January – February 2023, which is by 5.9 billion UAH or 9.8% more than in January – February 2022.

Revenues of the single contribution to obligatory state social insurance amounted to 69.1 billion UAH in January – February 2023, which is by 8.1 billion UAH or 13.4% more than in January – February 2022.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 81.8 billion UAH in February 2023. State budget received 47.3 billion UAH, local budgets – 34.5 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 46.7 billion UAH in February 2023. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 104.2% (+1.9 billion UAH). VAT was reimbursed in the amount of 6.6 billion UAH to the payers’ accounts.

In terms of basic payments in February 2023, the increase compared to February 2022 is from the value added tax, namely 2.8 billion UAH (+22.5%), excise tax on produced and imported excise goods (products) – 1.3 billion UAH (+23.6%), levy and personal income tax – 0.4 billion UAH (+3.2%).

Local budgets received 34.5 billion UAH in February 2023, which is by 0.7 billion, UAH or 2.0% more than in February 2022.

Revenues of single contribution to obligatory state social insurance amounted to 36.8 billion UAH in February 2023, which is 2.7 billion UAH or 8.1% more than in February 2022.
