State Tax Service presented effective cases on international taxation to world expertsChapter: News

Experts of the State Tax Service together with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine presented current cases on activities of non-resident permanent offices to representatives of the World Bank and the OECD experts, and also discussed latest changes in Ukrainian tax legislation in the international taxation.

Meeting highlighted a number of topical issues, such as increase of transparency and effectiveness of tax payment control, optimization of tax procedures and minimization of tax losses.

Participants also considered further cooperation and possibility of increasing efficiency of tax system in Ukraine, including modernization of information systems using latest technologies.

International experts noted positive dynamics of legislative changes and approaches of the State Tax Service, which consist of a combination of transfer pricing tools, control over payment of passive income, activities of non-residents in study of international operations, which correspond to general world practice.

Parties expressed readiness for further cooperation and successful implementation of suggested initiatives.
