Consolidated budget received 337.9 billion UAH in January – April 2023

Taxpayers continue to support Ukraine’s economy in difficult wartime, dutifully paying taxes to the budget. Thanks to their active civic position, the state steadily receives funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social benefits.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 337.9 billion UAH in January – April 2023. State budget received 200.6 billion UAH, local budgets – 137.3 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 198 billion UAH in January – April 2023. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 100.6%, budget additionally received1.3 billion UAH. Herewith, 51.8 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to the payers’ accounts.

In terms of taxes, indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 27.5% (+8 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) by 26.5% (+6.6 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax by 11.3% (+5.2 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in January – April 2023, the increase compared to the corresponding period of previous year is from the excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) by 2 times (+15.9 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax by 23% (+9.5 billion UAH).

Local budgets received 137.3 billion UAH in January – April 2023, which is 27 billion UAH or 24.5% more than in January – April 2022.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 84.7 billion UAH in April 2023. State budget received 48.4 billion UAH, local budgets – 36.3 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 47.6 billion UAH in April 2023. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 106.9%, budget additionally received 3.1 billion UAH. 11.4 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to the payers’ accounts.

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on the excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) were fully met, namely 132.7% (+2.4 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 114% (+1.6 billion UAH), corporate income tax – 155.9% (+0.8 billion UAH), value-added tax, taking into account budgetary reimbursement – 102% (+0.3 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in April 2023, the increase compared to April 2022 is from the excise tax on produced and imported goods (products), namely 3.7 billion UAH (+61%), levy and personal income tax – 3.7 billion UAH (+38.1%).

Local budgets received 36.3 billion UAH in April 2023, which is 11.3 billion UAH or 45% more than in April 2022.
