Representatives of the State Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council discussed issues of taxation sphere Chapter: News

Cooperation directions, as well as topical taxation issues were discussed by representatives of the State Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council during a working meeting.

As noted acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko, interaction between the Service and the Business Ombudsman Council is effective and efficient, as it allows quick and prompt resolution of problematic business issues.

"Not only Ukraine has changed, the whole world has changed. We have faced challenges that require new conceptual approaches and solutions. We have to support work of honest businesses and ensure that the budget is filled" – stated Tetiana Kiriienko.

Participants, during the meeting, also discussed registration suspension of tax invoices, execution of court decisions by the State Tax Service. In particular, they emphasized that work in this direction has improved significantly and the number of complaints from payers has significantly decreased.

Representatives of the State Tax Service also informed about improvement of mechanism of providing services to the taxpayers. According to acting Head, the State Tax Service is currently carrying out further digitization of services and implementation of new tax administration projects, taking into account recommendations of international partners. In particular, work of the Contact Center of the State Tax Service has already been improved, new functions have been introduced that significantly increase possibilities for processing requests from the taxpayers.

In turn, representatives of the Business Ombudsman Council noted working effectiveness of joint expert groups with the State Tax Service, due to which it was possible to find optimal solutions to many topical issues.
