Working meetings with representatives of the International Monetary Fund on tax policy and tax administration were heldChapter: News

Joint delegation of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the State Tax Service of Ukraine, headed by the Deputy Minister of Finance Svitlana Vorobey and acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Yevhenii Sokur worked from May 6 to 13, 2023 with technical mission of the Tax and Budget Department of the International Monetary Fund and representatives of the World Bank Group on tax administration and tax policy.

As a part of the meetings, state of implementation of the IMF recommendations and obligations stipulated in the Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policy as of March 24, 2023 was considered. Measures in the tax policy and tax administration defined in the draft Recovery Plan of Ukraine were also discussed.

Special attention was paid to project of the National Revenue Strategy and ways of improving tax policy and tax administration (increasing tax compliance, ensuring organizational capacity, developing information technologies and data protection) as components of the National Revenue Strategy, as well as resources necessary for their quality implementation.
