State Tax Service continues to learn experience of the EU countries for successful implementation of the EU best practices

Delegations of the Ministry of Finance and the State Tax Service of Ukraine arrived on a visit to Bratislava, Slovakia. Aim is to introduce and learn Slovakia's experience and best practices in tax administration and European integration. Visit was organized with support of project "Public Finance Management Support Programme in Ukraine (EU4PFM): components 1, 3 and 4" and Representation of the European Union in Ukraine.

Within the framework of this visit, working meetings of Ukrainian delegations with representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Financial Directorate of Slovakia were begun, as well as discussions of general approaches/mechanisms used to comply with the EU legislation (including preparation for accession to the EU), as well as the country's experience in implementation of the EU Directives in direct and indirect taxation and application of relevant IT solutions. In addition, a number of other issues related to tax administration will also be discussed.
