Consolidated budget received 883.5 billion UAH in January – September 2023

Taxpayers continue to support state dutifully paying taxes. Thanks to their active civic position, the state steadily receives funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social benefits.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 883.5 billion UAH in January – September 2023 according to operational data. State budget received 553.3 billion UAH, local budgets – 330.3 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 543.7 billion UAH in January – September 2023. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 102.4%, budget additionally received 12.6 billion UAH. Herewith, 101.6 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to the payers’ accounts.    

In terms of taxes, scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 27.2% (+22.7 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) by 19.5% (+13.0 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax by 1.7% (+2.1 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in January – September 2023, the increase compared to the corresponding period of previous year is from the excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) by 1.4 times (+22.5 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax by 20.1% (+20.9 billion UAH) and corporate income tax by 20.3 percent (+17.9 billion UAH).   

Local budgets received 330.3 billion UAH in January – September 2023, which is 54.6 billion UAH or 19.8% more than in January – September 2022.     

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 96.3 billion UAH in September 2023. State budget received 59.4 billion UAH, local budgets – 36.9 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 57.2 billion UAH in September 2023. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of the general fund of the state budget were fully fulfilled by 102.4%, budget additionally received 1.4 billion UAH. 10.7 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to the payers’ accounts.   

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on the income tax were fully met, namely by 3.1 times (+2.9 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 126.2% (+2.3 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in September 2023, the increase compared to September 2022 is from the income tax – by 2.9 times (+2.8 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 17.4% billion UAH (+2.3 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 18.6% (+1.7 billion UAH),

Local budgets received 36.9 billion UAH in September 2023, which is by 4.4 billion UAH or 13.7% more than in September 2022.
