State Tax Service and Business Ombudsman Council held meeting of expert groups Chapter: News

State Tax Service and Business Ombudsman Council continue to work on the consideration of taxpayers’ appeals received by the Business Ombudsman Council. A number of taxpayers’ questions regarding corporate taxation were discussed during the regular meeting of expert groups with participation of acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur and business ombudsman Roman Vashchuk.

According to Yevhenii Sokur, it is very important for the State Tax Service to maintain a constructive dialogue with business community in order to find systemic solutions that solve problematic matters of taxpayers.

Representatives of the State Tax Service specifically commented on the value added tax administration, registration of tax invoices/adjustment calculations. Clarifications and comments were also provided on taxpayers’ appeals related to the State Tax Service’s execution of court decisions.

Business ombudsman Roman Vashchuk emphasized effectiveness of cooperation between the Business Ombudsman Council and the State Tax Service, and also noted improvement of the State Tax Service’s execution of court decisions and high-quality legal support of processes.

Systematic work of joint expert groups of the State Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council demonstrates positive dynamics of solving problematic matters of taxpayers.
