State Tax Service and the International Monetary Fund continue to cooperateChapter: News

New meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, State Tax Service of Ukraine and experts of the International Monetary Fund was dedicated to implementation of modern compliance approaches in tax administration, which took place within the framework of work on finalization of the National Revenue Strategy, implementation of provisions of the Letter of Intent and Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policy, in particular, installed structural beacons.

During the meeting, acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur, noted that the State Tax Service is working on measures and determines specific steps necessary for implementation of such approaches, which will positively affect level of voluntary taxpayers’ compliance with requirements of tax legislation.

Reminder! Government of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine signed Letter of Intent for the first review of updated package of economic and financial policy measures of the 4-year program within the framework of the Extended Financing Mechanism on June 19, 2023.

The goal is to renew fiscal and debt sustainability while promoting long-term growth in the context of post-war reconstruction and Ukraine's path to the EU accession.
