State Tax Service is being assessed by the OECD Global forum on confidentiality and data protectionChapter: News

Acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko took part in opening of a four-day event on evaluation of the State Tax Service by experts of the OECD Global forum on transparency and information exchange for tax purposes on the observance of confidentiality and protection of information for the automatic information exchange.  

As acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Tetiana Kiriienko noted, passing the OECD Global forum assessment is important stage for the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

“We are taking active steps to effectively implement international standards on transparency and information exchange. The need to implement international standards is determined not only by domestic program documents, but also by international obligations that Ukraine has undertaken. In particular, as a member of the OECD Global forum on transparency and information exchange, and in the context of activation of the European integration processes” – stated Tetiana Kiriienko.

According to her, inclusion of Ukraine in the international system of automatic information exchange will contribute to creation of a more transparent tax environment and increase image of Ukraine as a reliable and equal partner in the international information tax relations and will ensure international automatic information exchange by Ukraine according to the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and CbCR with more than 100 foreign tax administrations.
