State Tax Service of Ukraine carries out active tax control measures during the Internet product trade Chapter: News

State Tax Service of Ukraine once again reminds that Tax audit units of the State Tax Service continuously monitor and analyze information posted on the Internet sites, Internet platforms and media regarding the product trade, for which payment is made mainly without use of registrars of settlement operations (hereinafter – RRO) and/or software RRO and, accordingly, without issuing fiscal check to the buyer.

It should be noted that Tax audit unit of Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Odesa region conducted a number of actual audits of more than 35 business entities that carried out activities via the Internet only during October – December 2023, as a result of which numerous legislative violations were established, control of which entrusted to the State Tax Service’s bodies.

One of such vivid examples is tax control measures against one of the networks, which made and delivered various dishes, while using the Internet, Instagram and Telegram applications in its activities. According to their results, it was established that for a long time the business entity carried out settlements without using RRO and/or software RRO and at the same time used work of 6 employees without proper registration of labor relations with them.

According to results of tax control measures, violations were detected, for which application of a fine (financial sanction) in the amount of more than 780 thousand UAH and separate notification of the Southern Interregional Labor Department for the purpose of taking measures within the scope of competence are foreseen.

State Tax Service of Ukraine warns individuals and other business entities about the inadmissibility of conducting illegal and unlawful business activities, including non-use of RRO and PRRO making settlements with consumers.

At the same time, the State Tax Service of Ukraine offers concerned citizens and patriots of Ukraine to inform about such cases in the "StopViolationBot" chatbot of the "Telegram" messenger.
