State Tax Service processed 2170 requests for obtaining public information in 2023Chapter: News

State Tax Service of Ukraine has processed 2018 requests for public information in January – December 2023.

Of the total number, 259 request was received by mail, 1869 by e-mail and 42 by the requester personally.

The biggest number of requests for obtaining public information came from individuals, namely 1272 requests. 829 requests for public information were received from legal entities, 9 from citizen associations without the legal entity’s status and 60 from mass media representatives.

According to the consideration results of requests: 1116 were provided with provision of information, refused/delayed according to Article 22 of the Law of Ukraine № 2939-VI as of 13.01.2011 "On access to public information" – 589 and 451 were sent to appropriate information managers.

The vast majority of inquirers were interested in tax information, namely 82.7% from the total number of requests.
