Regarding minimization of tax payments by some chains of stores that sell household appliances and electronics

Currently, information is spreading in media about minimization of tax payments by some chains of stores that sell household appliances and electronics by reducing amount of tax liabilities subject to the value added tax in fiscal checks, namely: by reflecting fake services/products (providing access to electronic library, set of electronic copies of audio books dubbed in Ukrainian, etc.), which are not subject to the VAT.

At the same time, the State Tax Service already reported in December 2023 about established facts, in particular that as a result of the actual audits organized and carried out by territorial units of the Tax audit, violations of settlement procedure by some of the biggest chains of stores involved in sale of household appliances and electronics, which provide for the application to violators significant fines (financial sanctions) (https://tax.gov.ua/en/mass-media/news/738045.html).

In order to eliminate violations and minimize risks of paying taxes by chains of stores that sell household appliances and electronics, we ask interested citizens and buyers to send detailed information to the chatbot  "StopViolationBot" of the "Telegram" messenger about facts of adding fake services/products to fiscal checks.
