General fund of the state budget received 103.4 billion UAH of excise tax in 2023Chapter: News

Revenues to general fund of the State budget of Ukraine from excise tax on excisable products (goods) produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine amounted to 103.4 billion UAH in 2023. This is 115.9 percent of revenue indicator set by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine (budget additionally received 14.2 billion UAH) and by 25 billion UAH or 31.8 percent exceeds revenues in 2022.

Fulfillment of revenue indicators was achieved due to additional income from the following excisable products produced in Ukraine:

tobacco and tobacco products – by 14.9 billion UAH or 132.5 percent from the set task (46 billion UAH);

liquor and alcohol products – by 3.7 billion UAH or 186.5 percent from the set task (4.3 billion UAH).

Revenues to general fund of the State budget of Ukraine from excise tax on excisable products (goods) produced in Ukraine and imported to the customs territory of Ukraine amounted to 8.2 billion UAH in December 2023.

This is 104.2 percent of revenue indicator, set by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine (budget additionally received 0.3 billion UAH).

Fulfillment of revenue indicators was achieved due to additional income from the following excisable products produced in Ukraine:

tobacco and tobacco products – by 1 billion UAH or 120.9 percent from the set task (4.8 billion UAH);

liquor and alcohol products – by 0.42 billion UAH or 199.7 percent from the set task (0.42 billion UAH).

wine products (without added alcohol) – by 0.04 billion UAH or 125.7 percent from the set task (0.15 billion UAH).
