Consolidated budget received 96 billion UAH in January 2024 Chapter: News

Taxpayers continue to support our state in difficult war times by dutifully paying taxes. Thanks to their responsible citizenship and patriotism, budget steadily receives such necessary funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to our citizens.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 96 billion UAH in January 2024, including state budget – 66.5 billion UAH, local budgets – 29.5 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 60.9 billion UAH in January 2024. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 113.6%, additional revenues to the budget amounted to 7.3 billion UAH. 9.8 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts.     

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were fully fulfilled from the value added tax, namely 128.6 percent (+7.8 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 106.5 percent (+0.4 billion UAH). 

In terms of main payments in January 2024, the increase compared to January 2023 is 3 times (+23.2 billion UAH) from the value added tax, +14.7 percent of the personal income tax and levy (+1.7 billion UAH), +25.9 percent of the excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) (+1.4 billion UAH) and by 1.6 times from the income tax (+0.7 billion UAH).
