To the attention banks, non-bank providers of payment services, issuers of electronic money!

State Tax Service of Ukraine announces entry into force of Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine № 698 as of13.12.2023, registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 28.12.2023 under № 2276/41332 (hereinafter – Order № 698), which amended Procedure for submitting notifications on opening/closing the taxpayers’ accounts in banks and other financial institutions to the controlling bodies", approved by Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine № 721as of 18.08.2015.

Order № 698 and pursuant to Paragraphs 69.2, 69.3 Article 69 of the Tax Code of Ukraine stipulates that exchange of electronic notifications on opening/closing of accounts /electronic wallets of taxpayers between the State Tax Service and banks, other financial institutions, non-bank payment service providers /issuers of electronic money is expanded.

Developers of software for finalization of the software, by means of which such exchange will be carried out, have been informed about the electronic forms of notification files here (https://tax.gov.ua/anonsi/33847.html), which are used for the software’s finalization.

In a period until 01.03.2024, it is possible to send to the controlling body notification on opening/closing of taxpayers’ accounts in the form established by Order № 698 and in the form that was in effect before this Order came into force.

Exchange of electronic documents will be carried out only in the form established by Order № 698 s S==tarting from March 1, 2024.
