Consolidated budget received 252.2 billion UAH in January – February 2024 Chapter: News

Taxpayers continue conscientiously support our state by dutifully paid taxes. Thanks to their responsible citizenship and patriotism, budget steadily receives such necessary funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to our citizens.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 252.2 billion UAH in January – February 2024. State budget received 187.1 billion UAH, local budgets – 65.1 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 172.3 billion UAH in January – February 2024. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 115.6%. VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts in the amount of 21.5 billion UAH.       

In terms of taxes, scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 3.1 times (+24.9 billion UAH), value added tax – 12.4 percent (+5.6 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 2.6 percent (+0.7 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 3.7 percent (+0.5 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in January – February 2024, the increase compared to January – February 2023 is from corporate income tax, namely 4.3 times (+28 billion UAH), value added tax by 1.9 times (+23.6 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 18.7 percent (+4.5 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 20.3 percent (+2.5 billion UAH).

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget from payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 156 billion UAH in February 2024, including to the state budget – 120.5 billion UAH, local budgets received 35.5 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 111.2 billion UAH in February 2024. Exceeding of scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues to general fund of the state budget is 16.6 percent, additional revenues to the budget amounted to 15.8 billion UAH. 11.7 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts.

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were fully met from income tax, namely by 3.7 times (+25.3 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 107 percent (+1 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 101.5 percent (+0.1 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in February 2024, the increase compared to February 2023 is from income tax, namely by 4.7 times (+27.3 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 22.1 percent (+2.9 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 16.1 percent (+1.1 billion UAH), rent payment for the subsoil use of national importance – 37.1 percent (+1 billion UAH), value added tax – 1.9 percent (+0.3 billion UAH).

Local budgets received 35.5 billion UAH in February 2024, which is 3 percent more (+1.0 billion UAH) more than in February 2023.
