Consolidated budget received 401.4 billion UAH in January – March 2024 Chapter: News

Taxpayers continue conscientiously support our state by dutifully paid taxes. Thanks to their responsible citizenship and patriotism, budget steadily receives such necessary funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to our citizens.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 401.4 billion UAH in January – March 2024. State budget received 303.7 billion UAH, local budgets – 97.8 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to the general fund of the state budget amounted to 280 billion UAH in January – March 2024. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 113.4%. VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts in the amount of 32.7 billion UAH.      

In terms of taxes, scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 1.7 times (+38.4 billion UAH), value added tax – 3.5 percent (+2.3 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 3.3 percent (+1.4 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 3.5 percent (+0.8 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in January – March 2024, the increase compared to January – March 2023 is from corporate income tax, namely 2.8 times (+61.9 billion UAH), value added tax by 1.9 times (+32.2 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 19.4 percent (+7.3 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 9 percent (+2 billion UAH).

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget from payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 149.2 billion UAH in March 2024, including to the state budget – 116.5 billion UAH, local budgets received 32.7 billion UAH. 

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 107.7 billion UAH in March 2024. Exceeding of scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues to general fund of the state budget is 10 percent, additional revenues to the budget amounted to 9.8 billion UAH. 11.1 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts.

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were fully met from income tax, namely by 1.3 times (+13.5 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 104.5 percent (+0.7 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 103.3 percent (+0.3 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in March 2024, the increase compared to March 2023 is from income tax, namely by 2.3 times (+33.9 billion UAH), value added tax – 1.9 times (+8.6 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 20.8 percent (+2.8 billion UAH).
