Consolidated budget received 504.7 billion UAH in January – April 2024 Chapter: News

Taxpayers continue conscientiously support our state by dutifully paid taxes. Thanks to their responsible citizenship and patriotism, budget steadily receives such necessary funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and social payments to our citizens.

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to 504.7 billion UAH in January – April 2024 according to operational data. State budget received 372.8 billion UAH, local budgets – 131.9 billion UAH.

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 340.5 billion UAH in January – April 2024. Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues of general fund of the state budget were fulfilled by 112.6%. Herewith, VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts in the amount of 44.7 billion UAH.        

In terms of taxes, scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were exceeded from the corporate income tax by 1.6 times (+39.3 billion UAH), value added tax – 5 percent (+4.4 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 5.7 percent (+1.9 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 3.1 percent (+1.8 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in January – April 2024, the increase compared to January – April 2023 is from corporate income tax, namely 2.7 times (+62.9 billion UAH), value added tax by 1.7 times (+38.7 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 20.9 percent (+10.7 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 11.8 percent (+3.7 billion UAH). 

Revenues (balance) to the consolidated budget from payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted almost to 103.3 billion UAH in April 2024, including to the state budget – 69.1 billion UAH, local budgets received 34.1 billion UAH. 

Revenues (balance) to general fund of the state budget amounted to 60.5 billion UAH in April 2024. Exceeding of scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for revenues to general fund of the state budget is 9.5 percent, additional revenues to the budget amounted to 5.2 billion UAH. 11.2 billion UAH of the VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts.  

Scheduled indicators of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine were fully met from the value added tax, namely 109.8 percent (+2.1 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 110.6 percent (+1.1 billion UAH), rent payment – 121.1 percent (+1 billion UAH), income tax, namely by 137.5 percent (+0.9 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 102.5 percent (+0.4 billion UAH).

In terms of main payments in April 2024, the increase compared to April 2023 is from the value added tax, namely by 1.4 times (+6.5 billion UAH), levy and personal income tax – 25.1 percent (+3.4 billion UAH), excise tax on produced and imported goods (products) – 17.9 percent (+1.8 billion UAH), income tax – by 1.4 times (+1.0 billion UAH), rent payment – 7 percent (+0.4 billion UAH).
