State Tax Service has processed 919 requests for obtaining public information since the beginning of 2024Chapter: News

State Tax Service of Ukraine has processed 919 requests for public information over January – April 2024.

Of the total number, 816 request was received by e-mail, 96 by mail, 6 personally from the requester and 1 by the telephone.

The biggest number of requests for obtaining public information came from individuals, namely 538 requests. 322 requests for public information were received from legal entities, 5 from associations of citizens without legal entity’s status and 54 from mass media representatives.

According to the consideration results of requests: 485 were provided with provision of information, 253 refused according to Article 22 of the Law of Ukraine № 2939-VI as of 13.01.2011 "On access to public information" and 154 were sent to appropriate information managers.

The vast majority of inquirers were interested in tax information, namely 78.5 percent from the total number of requests.
